Security network choices fall into the following primary categories:

Analogue Security Networks:

  • Cable: Copper, Coaxial, Unshielded Twisted Pair Cable (UTP) and Fibre
  • Wireless/ CODFM

IP Security Networks

  • Cable: Copper (Category 5 / Category 6) and Coaxial
  • Fibre: Single and Multimode
  • Powerline (Ethernet-over-Power – EoP)
  • Wireless IP/ COFDM

ClearView have a range of transmission and amplification systems available for long distance transmission. Typical maximum transmission distances are as follows:

  • IP Cat5 90m (standard)
  • IP Coaxial 1,800m
  • IP Wireless 11.3km (Line of sight without aerial mast)
  • Video Coaxial 500m
  • Video UTP 1,600m
  • Video Fibre 24km
