Finance Administrator

Permanent Part Time role of 30 hours per week over 4/5 days. £20,000 – £25,000 DOE


About us

ClearView is a well established Fire and Security Protection company; with over 25 years experience of providing a professional service to meet the security requirement of private and public sector organisations including Football stadiums, Hotels, Hospitals and Councils. Due to the expansion of products and services now being provided and maintained for our client base we are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our valued Finance Team.

Purpose of the role:

Reporting into the Finance Manger you will efficiently manage the data entry and administrative support for the day-to-day financial processes, which will include having frequent contact with clients, suppliers and our valued team members.

The key responsibilities for the role will include, but are not limited to:

Credit Control

  1. Chasing due and overdue invoices escalating to Finance Manager when required
  2. Liaising and co-ordinating with Account Managers prior to putting accounts on hold

Sales Ledger

  1. Raising and issuing invoices and credit notes
  2. Sending New Customer and supplier forms
  3. Setting up client accounts on internal CRM system, including undertaking credit check processes ready for approval by the Accounts Manager.
  4. Produce and send statements and deal with queries
  5. Maintenance and setting up client Direct Debits and Standing Order mandates
  6. Processing invoices through third party client portals

Purchase Ledger

  1. Reconciliation of works and purchase orders to contract and supplier invoices
  2. Assisting with the return of goods to suppliers to ensure credits are received
  3. Support in the reconciliation of Company bank accounts and internal Finance System (Xero)

General Financial Administration

  1. Collating and processing expense claims
  2. Process and reconciliation of credit card and fuel card payments

What we are looking for:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Finance role
  • Maybe studying an accountancy qualification
  • Experience of Xero and good MS Excel knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritise own work load effectively
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external customers with a positive can do attitude
