Fire Training

Fire Training

Did you know fire safety training and instruction is a legal requirement in any workplace?

Every employer should provide clear information, instructions and training to both marshals and staff to ensure your premises are safe from fire. By doing this, your marshal and staff will be prepared in the event of a fire, ensuring their own safety and the safety of others.

ClearView can help you meet these obligations by providing a comprehensive range of fire marshal, warden, extinguisher and awareness training courses for any organisation.

Fire Marshal & Warden Training

We can provide the correct training – delivered at your premises – for anyone nominated to fulfil the role of fire marshal or fire warden within your organisation.

As well as complying with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the course provides your staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to protect themselves and their colleagues in the event of a fire. This includes:

  • Identifying fires
  • Carrying out fire procedures
  • Evacuating staff
  • Practical fire-fighting, using a fire extinguisher in a controlled setting

Fire Extinguisher Training

An understanding of how to correctly use a fire extinguisher is essential for all of your staff. Our training will give all delegates the necessary skills on how to safely extinguish a fire in accordance with British Standards.

Our training will also provide details on which type of fire extinguisher to use on which type of fire – critical to know in emergency situations.

Fire Safety Awareness Training

As well as fire marshal and warden training, ClearView offer fire awareness training which gives all delegates an understanding of fire safety detection and fire alarm systems. This course also makes your staff aware of all evacuation procedures, fire signage and how to effectively carry out fire risk assessments.

This includes course materials, expert tuition and practical exercises to give learners in-depth training in the following:

  • Aims of fire safety
  • Fire safety legislation
  • Common causes of fire
  • Fire drills and evacuation
  • People’s behaviour during fires
  • The most efficient methods of evacuation

Upon successful completion of each course, each participant will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
