B.Sc (Hons) C.Eng. MIET
Chris is our Finance Director and joint owner and founder of ClearView with over 25+ years experiencing working within the security sector.
After successfully completing his BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Chris worked as a Senior Design Engineer at EEV (e2v), designing transmitter products for the defence industry. Chris then attained Chartered engineer status and is a full member of the IET. From E2V, Chris moved to a new position of Production Manager at SVT Video Systems Ltd a smaller company that manufactured professional audio and video equipment for clients such as the BBC and BT.
This career in engineering and management laid the foundations for 1996 when Chris, alongside his business partner, took the brave step to build their own business. ClearView was created after a gap in the security market was identified for supplying video and audio security equipment to our police constabularies across the UK. One of the products developed at that time was sold worldwide and this meant visits to the FBI at Quantico and the US Secret Service in Washington to provide customer training.
It was Chris’s responsibility to manufacture the products and to provide technical assistance to the police to help them use this new technology. Since then, the business has grown exponentially to provide complete integrated systems to both the public and private sector.
In his current role as Finance Director, Chris is responsible for all financial operations and strategies. An important element of Chris’ role is to conduct in-depth forecasting and financial analysis across all areas of the business. By doing this, we can continue to provide reliable, cost effective security solutions for our existing and new clients.
