ClearView have been appointed UK representatives by iOmniscient for their facial recognition, ANPR, people counting and video analytics systems.
ClearView and iOmniscient staff demonstrated the new facial recognition system in May at IFSEC 2011, the largest annual International security exhibition in the world.
iOmniscient’s Face Recognition in a Crowd Technology received the award for the Best CCTV Product of the Year (excluding cameras and lens). The product continues the company’s tradition of developing products for crowded and complex scenes.
Paul Main, ClearView Joint Managing Director said “The facial recognition system caused tremendous interest at the show since it takes the intelligence of CCTV cameras to new levels. There was strong interest from a variety of sectors including ports, borders, retail and sports stadiums.”
