One such system IMC – Intelligent Moving Camera powered by Viseum software – can be programmed to look for, track and record certain types of human behaviour automatically and unmanned. The system works using a combination of fixed cameras for 360 degrees of cover and a high performance PTZ camera for close-up tracking.
When any of the fixed cameras detect activity that matches the pre-defined parameters programmed into the system, they activate the PTZ camera which then tracks and records events. All fixed cameras can record activity for continuity of evidence.
