ClearView has launched TransView – an advanced range of Mobile Digital Video Recorders (mDVRs) designed for use on board vehicles. The systems can record and transmit a wide variety of live data including CCTV, tachometer, alarms, audio and horizontal/vertical sensing.
Vehicle CCTV Transmission Over 3G and WiFi Networks
Multiple feeds can simultaneously transmit over 3G and WiFi networks to provide vehicle location, CCTV and other data to a central monitoring station giving real-time and retrospective information.
The vibration-absorbing mDVRs have built-in GPS for location tracking. TransView can provide aeroplane-style “black box” recordings so that in the event of an incident or fire, evidence can be retrieved for analysis.
TransView CCTV systems are currently in use by bus, taxi, rail and logistics operators.
