Supporting the Environment

ClearView stands apart from other organisations through our industry-leading accreditations and certifications. This includes our Environmental Management certification, ISO 14001:2015, in which we create annually monitored and measured environmental objectives in order to help benefit the local community. This includes recycling all of our waste responsibly and through our local waste disposal company, Green Recycling.

We work to ensure that our day-to-day operations are undertaken to minimise this impact through assessing and improving our environmental performance and provide learning and development for our employees on environmental awareness and enable consideration and understanding of environmental issues and their impact.

Supporting Charities

ClearView supports local charities, through our participation in charity sports events and through active participation in local community charities and national fundraisers. The company annually identifies a local Charitable or Community based organisation to support on either fundraising or provision of our professional or products.

Our Charity Involvement
Supporting Local Councils

ClearView has worked with numerous councils and public authorities to provide security systems which benefit crime prevention in the local area. ClearView promotes safeguarding and offers support to councils on improving security for the local area and the well-being of the local residents. More recently, ClearView has adopted new initiatives in regards to offering support to the community.

ClearView manages the proactive and reactive maintenance of Thurrock Council’s CCTV system. The contract includes the planned and reactive repair and maintenance of existing systems and the installation of additional works as required. This contract includes an engineer to attend site two days a week to ensure all equipment is working to optimum performance. In 2018, ClearView acquired the contract to look after the intruder alarm system of 20 sites at Thurrock Council. This will include callouts which will have specific SLAs in terms of speed of response to each fault. False alarms will be managed by ClearView and communicated to the customer.

Supporting Our People

We are accredited with Investors in People and place high importance on looking after the safety, the well-being of our staff. As an Investors In People organisation, we ensure we follow a performance management process by setting and agreeing on objectives and key performance criteria’s. This will highlight the areas of development and ensures learning and development opportunities are specific to employees objectives and career paths.  This is monitored and reviewed via our HR information which encourages individuals to monitor and record successes and achievements against their objectives.

As a company, we provide a high level of training to all employees such as Health and Safety, Project Management, and technical training. We feel training is important as not only does it benefit the company it empowers our staff and gives them transferable skills which they may use outside of work, within their local community.

ClearView takes its responsibility to protect our employees, clients and the public seriously whilst undertaking all our operations. Our certification in ISO45001:2018 is evidence of our commitment to the highest standards of occupational health and safety.

Supporting Our Local Community

The Company will integrate community investment considerations onto decision-making and business practices and will insist on local capacity building to develop mutually beneficial relationships with communities it and its clients operate in.

We aim to source all our suppliers from our local community where possible and have contracts with Chelmsford Safety Supplies, Joyce design in Chelmsford, local electrical wholesaler CEF and Aaron’s Catering, a local, mobile catering company. Not only do ClearView aim to source local suppliers, but we aim to recruit from the local community also, offering apprenticeships and trainee schemes such as Kickstart.  Kickstart is a government-funded scheme providing employers with funding in order to create new job placements for 16 to 24-year old’s. ClearView will be introducing this scheme later in the year in order to provide more jobs within the local community, including a high level of training, upskilling the local community with valuable qualifications.
